The last task of the current programme.  This weekend DCV is cutting pine trees from sensitive heathland at Newton Gully near Corfe Castle. The area is valuable for rare reptiles and was once a clay working area with a spectacular man made gully system. On Saturday, weather permitting, we will have a half hour walk at lunch time to explore the gully. No jackets spuds this time but plenty of treats. If you can, please meet us at the Wytch Farm gathering station before 10am for onward travel to the site. See DCV web page for map.Any queries contact dcv.newsed at talk21.com or 01202 521139
ps: the next newsletter with task programme February to April will be printed this week and sent out at the weekend.
