DCV Membership

You are welcome to join us in our tasks even if you are not a member. However, as a member you will be entitled to:

Receive a printed copy of the newsletter by post.

Or Email notification of when the online version is published

To vote at the AGM

To nominate someone or be nominated as an officer or trustee.

How much does it cost?
The membership fee is currently £3, this covers:

The cost of printing and posting the quarterly Newsletter
The hosting of the DCV website

How do I join?
Please download and complete the *application form. You can then:

Post it along with your cheque to the address on the form.
Bring it along to the next task and hand it to the leader.
Email it to the email address on the form.

* The application form is in PDF format and requires PDF viewer e.g. Adobe Reader to read it. It is "forms" enabled so you can either printout the blank form and complete it with a pen or open it in a forms enabled PDF viewer and complete it as e-Form before saving to email or printing and posting.

If you are sending your form by email and prefer to pay by online banking, please specify this in the email and we will send you the DCV bank details.

About payments and donations
Subscriptions help fund the production and postage of the paper version of the newsletter and the hosting of the DCV website. Active members pay a lower subscription as each task they work on helps earn money for DCV which helps cover these costs and our other running costs.

In addition to your subscription you are invited to make a donation to:

DCV funds - These are the funds that cover our normal operational costs and the occasional donations that to other organisations that have been agreed at the AGMs.
ORCHIS funds - Are ring fenced and are specifically for the costs associated with our twinning with ORCHIS. Additional funding for this comes from the work carried out on the joint task on which they join us each year.
