Welcome to
Dorset Countryside Volunteers

We are independent group of volunteers who undertake work associated with the countryside and conservation, on behalf of charities and other organisations involved in conservation or the improvement of public amenities anywhere within the county.
Founded in 1972, we have active members from teens to octogenarians. It is simply a case of turning up and do as much as you feel able to. You do not need to join us to come along but by joining you will support our work and be entitled to receive a copy of the newsletters and task programmes when published. If you will be joining us on task for the first time, please read this F.A.Q. Especially if you have no prior experience of this type of work. We also ask that you complete a application form so that we have your contact details. (See membership page for more details and help completing the form)

We have tasks on most weekends throughout the year, either one day (usually Sunday) or both Saturday and Sunday. You can download a copy of this quarter's newsletter or task programme here in PDF format.
